BEAT MY TEAM (BMT) is a fantasy sports game played with Player Cards and Player Card Packs!
On each player card, you will find the following important information:

Position:  Player’s position, i.e. a forward (FWD), midfielder (MDF) or defender (DEF)

Level: The level of the player card in BMT. There are 10 player card levels. The higher the level, the higher the GP multiplier. To upgrade to a higher level, collect more player card copies.

Name & Team: The player’s name and team the player is currently playing for

Competition (round flag icon) – The football competition that this player participates in, i.e. in this case Spanish La Liga.

Important note for players with multiple competition participations: There are players that participate in more than one competition. For example, Messi participates in the Spanish La Liga, in UEFA Champions league and in the World Cup. In these cases, the flag icon shows the player’s national league. You can use the same player card, in all competitions the player participates in.  

GP (in this case x10) – Is a multiplier and shows the number of goal points you get for every goal this player scores. In this case if Griezmann is on your lineup and scores a goal, you get 10 goal points on your contest leaderboard.

AVG: (in this case, 0.51) – This is the Average Goals per Match this player scored. It’s based on all his participations during this and last season. Important! Please note that some largely unknown players might exhibit a higher GP than other, more well-known players, because they might have very few participations.

Rarity: – Player cards have 5 rarities. Common, Rare, Top, Legend for players and Epic for all coaches. The rarer the card, the more valuable & powerful it is.

Upgrade: At the bottom of each card you can see a grey icon representing player card copies and two numbers, in this case 1/2. The 1^st number is the number of card copies you have since the last player upgrade and the 2^nd number is the number of player card copies you need for the next player upgrade.



When you have collected enough player card copies, as shown on the right, i.e. 3/2, which means that you needed 2 card copies to upgrade and you now have 3, then the upgrade bar changes to blue color, and a green arrow appears, indicating that you can upgrade this player.

On every player card, there are certain additional icons which appear based on certain conditions, give you additional information and help you make the best choice when setting up your lineup.

On Fire icon: Player is on fire, which means he scored at least 2 goals in his last 2 matches

First Aid Kit: Player is injured. Mouse over the icon to see the type of injury.

  New: Shown at the top right corner of the player card and indicates a new player for your collection.

Play Icon: Player is on his team’s starting lineup

Pause Icon: Player is NOT on his team’s lineup, i.e. he is benched
 
Upgrade Arrow: The bottom part of the player card turns blue and a green arrow is shown to indicate that the player is ready to upgrade.

Player Cards are subdivided by rarity based on how valuable they are. The top scorers, like Messi and Ronaldo are of Legend rarity, which means they are the most valuable, rarest and hardest to acquire. There are 5 rarities:   

• Common (white color)
• Rare (blue color)
• Top (yellow color)
• Legend (red color)
• Epic (Coaches - purple color)

One of the primary aims of the game is to collect player cards and use them to participate in contests.
You can collect player cards by opening packs. Packs are available to you in the following ways:

1. Purchase the most powerful packs from the BMT Shop!
2. Win packs by playing, by joining contests
3. Purchase Contest packs, at the contest page
4. Win a Mission pack, through the completion of missions 

Shows the most powerful packs in the game that can be purchased from our Shop

Shows packs in your Pack Inventory won by playing. When claimed, these packs are locked and you either have to wait for a number of hours or pay an amount in diamonds to unlock instantly.

When you open packs, you get player cards from ALL available competitions, but more from your favorite competition, which you get to choose at the start of the game!

• We welcome you to the game with a Starter Pack that you can open instantly when you start playing the game!
   
• After you join your first contest you get another Free Pack! Each of these packs includes 10 player cards, diamonds and coins.

• You also get a free pack every 4 hours!

• You win packs by playing. Packs won time-locked, so you either wait for a number of hours (see table 2) or pay an amount in diamonds to unlock instantly. These are the ways to win packs:
  • You get a free pack, for every goal you score!!! For example, after you score your first goal as a Rookie, you get rewarded with a Super Pack! (see more in the table 1)
     
  • You can win packs when you finish in the top 3 positions in your contest leaderboard. In other words, when you win a gold, silver or bronze medal in a contest.
     
  • You also win packs when you promote to a new league/division
     
  • Complete missions by joining contests and player transfers

• Finally, you can purchase the most powerful packs from our BTM Shop using diamonds and open them instantly, increasing your chance to get the most valuable players!

Each pack is created randomly and contains:

• Several player cards of different rarity
• Diamonds
• Coins
• Possibly a Coach Card, which is the rarest card of them all!

Each pack contains more than one copy of each player card. The number of copies you get is shown by the number in the round orange icon, at the top corner of each card. Don’t forget that you always need extra player card copies to upgrade your players for a higher level and GP multiplier!
In every purchased pack, there is a guaranteed number of Unique Players and a guaranteed number of Rare, Top & Legend cards, depending on your League & Division Level. The number of diamonds and coins you get from each pack also vary depending also on your Level.
If you notice that the sum of RARE, TOP and LEGEND cards is more that the UNIQUE cards, it’s because you can receive more than one copies of the same player.

The Player Inventory is where all your player cards are kept. More specifically you can find your player collection cards at: INVENTORY > PLAYERS

The number 395 on the Player Inventory tab shows the number of unique player cards in your player inventory and the number +187 on the red notification icon on the INVENTORY tab shows the number of player cards that are ready to be upgraded.
The Player Inventory allows users to check on their current player collection, player’s upgrade status and player info. From this page users can proceed to upgrade players and have a global vision on what players are currently lined up in contests.

Player cards for each rarity group include a visual element that quickly and clearly identifies the rarity of that card.
You can filter and sort your player cards in your Player Inventory, in a number of ways, i.e. by rarity, by competition, by GP. By average goals, by team, by name, by latest, ascending or descending, or use the search to look for a player or a team by name:

Click on any player card to get more detailed info such as shown below:

• In detailed view, you get all the important information on his card, but also:
• Current and Previous season goals
• BMT ranking and statistics
• Nationality, date of birth, height, weight and preferred foot
• Assists, substitutions, appearances, minutes played, etc…
• You can also see his performance in his last 3 matches and news about him & his team.

Rarest card: The Epic Coach Card is the rarest card you can find! It multiplies your team lineup’s total goal points earned. 
 
Used only for contests in his competition: Coaches can only be used in contests in their competition. For example, you can use Zidane, only for Spanish League contests.
 
Level up your coach: You can increase your coach’s team multiplier from 1.1 to 1.99 by collecting more card copies of the same coach card. 
 
Only 3 coaches per competition: For example, for the Spanish La Liga you can find and use Ernesto Valverde, Z. Zidane and D. Simeone

Player cards dropped from a pack are always level 1 players. When you have enough copies of a player card as required by the upgrade settings, the “Upgrade” area under the player card becomes active.

What does 3/2 means: The first number in the blue area at the bottom of the card (no. 3) is the number of player card copies you accumulated since your last update. The second number (no. 2) is the number of player card copies you need for the next upgrade for this player.

Clicking in the “Upgrade” area, on the green arrow, opens the “Upgrade popup window” that asks for confirmation to upgrade and shows the cost, in coins, for this upgrade step.

Why upgrade: By upgrading a Player, you increase his GP multiplier, meaning that you get more goal points for every goal he scores. This gives you an edge in your leaderboard!
 
Use coins to upgrade: Every upgrade costs an amount in coins. The amount of game coin and total number of copies required for the next upgrade grows on each step and depends on the player card level and rarity (common, rare, top, legend).  If you run out of coins you can buy more with diamonds.
 
Levels & GP Multipliers: There are 10 player card levels with increasing GP multipliers, from 3 to 99.
 
GP Bonus: Every time you upgrade a player you also receive a GP bonus. The higher the upgrade level, the higher the bonus. Bonus goal points are added to your league/division leaderboard.

Claim Winnings icon. Appears on the My Contests tab and shows a cup with a number which represents the number of contests where you won something and there are prizes to be claimed. The icon disappears when you have claimed all your winnings.

Available player upgrades icon. Appears on the Inventory tab and shows an arrow with a number which represents the number of players in your inventory that are ready to be upgraded. The icon disappears when you have upgraded all your players.

Available packs icon. Appears on the Inventory tab and shows a + sign with a number which represents the number of available - to open - packs in your pack inventory. The icon disappears when you have opened all your available packs.

Boosters are special cards that give you extra goal points when certain conditions are met. For example, the nil-nil booster gives you goal points for every match in your contest that finishes with no goals.

To use boosters, when in the contest page, choose the ones you want from your Booster Inventory and add them in the Booster Slots under your team lineup. Then click on save.  

 
Get to Striker to unlock your first boosters: When you start playing, at Rookie level, all four of your booster slots are locked, and so are all your booster cards, but you can unlock them all as you advance in the game.
Available boosters & booster slots: After you score your first 2 goals you can promote from Rookie to Striker Division V, at which time you can start using boosters.  You get 3 available booster slots immediately and 5 different booster cards you can use. Use them to power up your team! Advance to Silver League Division V to unlock even more boosters!

4 Booster Slots: The fourth booster slot unlocks when you get to Gold League.

Win or Buy Boosters: You can win booster cards every time you get promoted, or you can buy them directly from your Booster Inventory using diamonds. You can use them instantly to boost up your team, or store them in your inventory to use in future contests.

Boosters give you an edge in the game, but you only have 4 booster slots, so use them wisely!

BEAT MY TEAM (BMT) is a fantasy sports social game, played with football player cards and card packs!

In fantasy football games, you create teams with real football players and get points according to their real performance on the field. In BMT, you only care about goals, which is the most exciting part of football.

Therefore, BMT is a Top Scorers fantasy football game played with Player Cards.  
Put simply, in BEAT MY TEAM your aim is to:

• Collect Player Cards
• Use your best player cards to Join Contests
• Score the most Goals

Ready, steady, go!

• You start with the challenge of having only a few player cards, but you can get a free pack every hour and you can also purchase packs to grow your player collection! Don’t forget that for every goal you score you get a pack, so make sure you join all the contests you have players for.

• When you first enter the game, you choose your favorite competition, for example, The English Premier League. When you open Packs, you get player cards from all available competitions, but more from your favorite.

• To collect the most goal points, and promote quicker, it’s best to join as many contests as possible in many competitions. Therefore, make sure you join ALL contests you have players for, even if you can’t complete your lineup. Don’t forget that any player who is active can mean a goal, a goal means a new pack, and a pack means more players.

• In the beginning, all you should do is score goals. You start as a Rookie and when you score 2 goals, you unlock the first ranked league, which is the STRIKER league. The Striker league is all about scoring goals. Keep scoring an increasing number of goals to promote through all the Striker divisions. 

• “Groom” your collection by investing in upgrading favourite players to increase their scoring power!
  After the Striker league and when you’ve become familiar with scoring goals, you enter the Bronze, Silver and Gold Leagues where things get more competitive since you need to start winning medals to promote through leagues and divisions. To win a medal you should finish in the first 3 positions of each contest leaderboard.

• In the higher leagues you must be careful, because if you are in the bottom 3 positions of your division leaderboard for 3 consecutive weeks then you demote to the lower division level.

• During the game, you will score goals and win medals and promote division by division, tier by tier, increasing your spending power but also needing to upgrade your players at a higher cost.

• Very soon you will have a solid player collection of top scorers from your favourite teams and competitions.

• Fill up your trophy gallery and shares it with friends.
  Finally, place yourself first in the PRO league and enter the Hall of Fame.

You monitor your contests in My Contests page. This is the first page you see when you first land in the game. Here you can see all the contests you have joined so far.

Click on the EDIT button to edit your team lineup for an upcoming contest or click on the SUMMARY button to see the results for your finished contests.

In the MY CONTEST page, you can see the results for your contests and claim any rewards you might have won!

In My Contests page you can also see:

1. Where you are in the tiers, i.e. you league and Division
2. How many goals or medals you must score or win to promote to the next division
3. Your total Goal Points
4. The total number of goals you scored so far
5. The total number of medals you won
6. Your total number of wins (gold medals in contests)
7. Your rank in your league-division leaderboard
8. Your Picks %, which is the % of players in your lineup that scored a goal

This is your lineup page for every contest.

• Add player cards to your lineup by choosing player cards from your Contest Inventory.
   
• If you don’t have enough players to complete your lineup/team you can buy a “Contest Pack”.
   
• The first lineup slot is reserved for the coach card. This card will multiply the total goal points scored by all the players in your lineup!

• At Rookie level, you start with 4 available player card slots and more slots become available as you rise through the leagues and divisions.

• Your aim is to create a team for each contest to score the most goals and goal points!

• To increase chances for this, try to find and use the LEGEND & TOP players in your competition!
   
• If you want to grow your player card collection quicker you can always buy more packs from our BMT shop with diamonds.

• You can add players to your lineup/team automatically by clicking on AUTO SELECT. Auto-select works with a special algorithm that takes into consideration the average goals per match and the GP multiplier of each player card.

• A captain is assigned automatically and gives you double points for every goal he scores. You can change your captain by clicking on the star icon above his card. Always choose as your captain the player with the best chance to score!

• Under your team lineup you can find your booster slots. You get 3 booster slots once you make it to the Striker League! The fourth slot will unlock when you reach the Gold League! Use boosters to win extra goal points to your team and get an edge on your competition! (for more information on how to use Boosters click on the BOOSTERS Category in the Help Center)

• After you have added your player and booster cards, don’t forget to SAVE your team lineup!

• All you must do now, is wait for the contest matches to begin! Check your countdown timer to see when these begin. Note that you can come back anytime and adjust your lineup.

League tiers and divisions are progress gates that can also be used to “unlock” game features such as boosters, player slots, game features, special offers and bundles.

Your progress is determined by your League/Division ranking!

When you join the game, you start off as a Rookie, at the bottom of the league tiers and you need to work your way up. Tiers are groups of players of similar skill level and there are many leagues in each tier. Win ranked contests to be promoted to the league of the next tier!

Each league group is basically a ranking or leader board of users based on their accumulated GP points. (for more information on what GP are refer to the “Goal Points” Category in the Help Center)

The “League” page shows your current ranking and leader board for the 30 users taking part in this league.
Goal count, number of medals and trophies are used to try solving GP points tie situations.

Score goals. Earn goal points. Win Contests. Climb your ranked league leaderboards.  Promote to the next division, all the way to the Hall of Fame.

Finish in the #1 position of your PRO I division and get your name listed in the HALL OF FAME!

All leagues, except Rookie & Pro, are broken down into 5 divisions. Your division shows your progress towards a league in the next tier. Striker, Bronze, Silver and Gold leagues consist of 5 divisions each.

You win medals (gold, silver or bronze) by getting a 1^st ,2^nd or 3^rd position in a contest. Winning medals also gives you, packs, coins, diamonds and GP bonuses. 

You gain Goal Points by scoring goals. Depending on his level (1-10), each player has a GP multiplier that indicates how many GP points per goal you get when the player scores.
 
Player GP Multiplier X Number of Goals scored = Number of Goal Points won
 
The number of total GP points received per goal depend on your player’s GP Multiplier which ranges from 3 to 99.
 
You can receive additional GP points by upgrading players, or by promoting to a new league/division. Boosters also provide you with Goal Points bonuses if certain real match conditions are met.
 
The total Goal Points you earn determine your position in your Contest and League leaderboards.

Players dropped for a first time from a pack are Level 1. You can upgrade them up to level 10, by collecting more player card copies. Upgrading players costs game coin and requires a certain number of total card copies. When you own the number of copies set in the upgrade table or more, you can upgrade the player.
 
When upgrading the system picks a random value within the GP Multiplier bracket corresponding to the player’s next level. (For instance, a common type level 1 player can obtain a new GP level between 15 and 19 when upgrading to level 2).
 
When a player card is upgraded to its full level users can still use player copies to upgrade it in order to get the GP bonus points, however the player level remains the same.

You get demoted when you end in the bottom 3 positions of your league leader board for 3 consecutive weeks.
Demotions are active only in the Bronze, Silver and Gold leagues.
